Platform
I would like to focus on enhancing the current members’ experience with the Corps. This can be supported through fundraising/sponsorships to ensure members have everything they need to be mentally, emotionally and physically healthy during the season as to focus their attention on performance and forming relationships on and off the field. Also, aiding members in need to pay dues so that anyone with the desire can participate.
Projects
Securing sponsorships (both from individuals/families and from businesses/corporations) so members can pay dues and needs are met for day today operations.
Assist merchandising team in brainstorming and executing ways to maximize sales of Cavalier merchandise and new ideas to increase visibility of the Corps through merchandise sales.
Assist in recruiting new and talented individuals to the Corps.
Vision
The Cavalier Alumni Association should focus on perpetuating the future successes of the Corps while maintaining a strong relationship with the Corps’ history and traditions. The CAA can play a strong role through exploring new avenues to raise funds, increase visibility for the Corps in the pageantry arts world and at a smaller community level. I also believe the CAA should be strong role models for current members and active ambassadors for the organization in general.
