Ed Ribar is a marketing professional, with over 15 years of experience, including spending 11 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he worked in brand management for household-name brands like Old Spice and Gillette. Ed has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University. After graduation, Ed worked in business consulting, working for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and other consulting companies, including his own consulting practice. Ed then went to graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business, where he completed an MBA with a concentration in marketing, as well as an MS in Management of Information Systems. Ed now works as a growth marketing manager with SAE (the Society of Automotive Engineers) in Pittsburgh, PA.

“American Ed” performed with The Cavaliers color guard in 1989 and 1991. In 1991, Ed placed 4th place on soprano bugle at the DCI Individual & Ensemble competition. After his time with the Corps, Ed performed with Escapade winter guard from Dayton, OH in 1992 and 1993. Since aging out, Ed has designed the drill for bands in PA, OH, IL, TX, NM, and CA and has also been a visual judge for bands and color guards around the country
