Ryan Ling is a native of Wilmington OH and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Lindsey. He has been working in television production since 2003, and launched his own production company, Bird Brain Productions, in 2015.   Over the span of his career he has worked with some of the nation’s top entertainers, comedians, and musicians.  In 2011 Ryan created MTV2’s highest rated original series “Guy Code” that led to franchise spinoffs, Girl Code, Girl Code Live, Guy Court, Charlamagne’s Uncommon Sense, and Ladylike, launching the careers of Charlamagne tha God, Pete Davidson, Nicole Byer, Awkwafina, Carly Aquilino, and many more. Currently he is developing series for MTV, Vh1, Nickelodeon, Snapchat, and Viceland.

Ryan received his Bachelors degree in TV Production/ Mass Communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Ryan was a marching member of the corps for 5 seasons (1998-2002) where he played baritone until being named Assistant Drum Major in 2002.  The Cavaliers were named Drum Corps International Champions 3 times during his career, 2000, 2001, and 2002 pulling off the elusive 3-peat.  In 2002 the corps went undefeated and received the highest score ever at the time, with a 99.15
